When you’re drunk with your friends and enthusiastically make plans for some time in the future that you’ll never follow through with.
Drunk Bob: “Hell yea! I’m all down for the club next weekend! I need to get my groove on!”
Sober Bob next weekend: “Nah, man. I’m staying in tonight. I was just future faking”

Basically a fake relationship is a relationship that is not real. In closer detail a fake relationship is a very werid connection between two people. Sometimes In a fake relationship one person isn’t interested in the other. And sometimes there both not interested in each other. A fake relationship can take place because someone in the fake relationship wants attention from others or they don’t wanna be lonely. (DISCALMER: Just because they don’t wanna be lonely doesn’t mean the person running the fake relationship is interested in you) 1# easy way to tell it’s a fake relationship- {if someone is dating someone that is a total opposite from them} 2# {if they spend more time with other girls/boys} 3# {they barely call, text, or have contact with you}.
Bobs parents won the lottery, afterwards Sadie (the hottest girl in his school) asked him out; afterwards he found out she was a gold digger and Sadie told him that it was a fake relationship.

No, it does not mean a person who joined the fandom all late or only enjoys certain songs of a band/artist. A fake fan is someone who:
- Is only in the fandom for the ships and hates or attacks other fans who have opposing ships and usually start shipwars
- Threatens, harrasses, or bothers the creators and/or actors of their fandom
- Berates fanartists and fanfic writers for tiny mistakes in their artwork or writings
- Calls out other fans for being fake in an immature or inappropriate way
- Harrasses cosplayers, either in a sexual, abusive, or "friendly" way without the consent of cosplayer
- Often says that they are dating or married to their favorite person in the fandom and will hurt or harrass people who like the same person or the person's significant other
- Harrasses others who do not like their fandom instead of minding their own goddamn business and let others like what they like

Person 1: I just started to get into Twenty One Pilots, their new album Trench is so good!
Person 2: Wow, you're such a fake fan, you haven't even listened to their old songs yet..
Person 1: Well I just started.
Person 2: SO WHAT!? You are not a real fan if you JUST started!

A break up that eventually leads to the couple making back up. Hence, it is not a real break up, but a "fake-up."
Larry and Susan broke up again, but you know they're going to get back together... so it's another fake-up.
