A shitty band from New Jersey that create really awful, generic songs and that sound like every other band at the moment. Fronted by Gerard Way, who (as my friend so brilliantly put) sounds like he should shot.
Seriously, there's nothing special about them- the only reason they suddenly became 'cool' is because Gerard started to wear red eyeshadow around his eyes. Now every girl in the world is buying shitloads of red eyeshadow and smothering it down their faces while screaming "I'M NOT OKAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!" Before Gerard's whole I'm A Guy And I'm Wearing Eyeshadow Which Is Make Up barely anyone had heard of My Chemical Romance. Guys wearing eyeliner is just A Thing at the moment and as soon as it goes out of fashion, Gerard will stop wearing it. There's very few male bandpeople that actually wear make up because they like it and think it makes them look more attractive. Infact I can only think of one- Brian Molko.

Get the my chemical romancemug. Incredibly poor emo group, fronted by Gerard Way, who seem to have captured the minds of defenceless emo kids, and have turned them away from real music to their own brand of whining crap such as Helena or Im Not OK.
They have unfortunatly become strangely popular, but dont let yourself believe this is due to a modicum of talent, oh no, its solely down to the way the band pander to the image of fashion that is currently held by the ever growing contingent of emo kids.

Get the My Chemical Romancemug. My Chemical Romance (MCR for short) is an American rock band. Their audience is mostly composed of emo tweens & teens.
They broke up in 2013, 22 of March, to be exact. Their fans believe that when they die, they go to the so called "Black Parade". They make songs about how "nice" death and they brainwash their audience into thinking that. Their fans can't take opinions very well and mostly label people with different opinions "bitches" and other things in that context. Before you yell
at me because I said this, I was "emo" myself and my best friend is still (sadly) "emo" and I listened to them. It was until I realized how edgy they are. But, this is just my opinion, so don't get triggered. You like them all you want, I don't really care.

Get the My Chemical Romancemug. A band that consisted of Mikey Way Gerard Way Frank Iero and multiple drummers.
My Chemical Romance broke up on March 22nd, 2013 and many fans speculated a return. A lot of fans believed that they would follow the smashing pumpkins theory which was breaking up for 6 years and getting back together. Another theory was that they would skip their teen years based on their song 'teenagers' which has the lyrics 'Teenagers scare the living shit out of me' stating since they broke up when their band was 12 they would come back after its teenage years. Another popular theory was based om their last album 'Danger Days' which was based on summer of 2019, fans were disappointed to see that they did not return in summer of 2019. On Halloween of 2019 they announced their return, proving some of the theories to be true. (Which just so happens to be Frank Ieros birthday. ) Frank recently said he just so happened to be wearing a shirt that said 2019 on it for the past 8 years. My Chemical Romance had their reunion show last night (December 20th, 2019) and many fans attended. The show was streamed on many platforms including YouTube.
