Pokedouche

An individual that claims they are avid pokemon fans, posting on twitter or facebook "Omg lol, i bought me a pickachu onesie! I am such a pokemon nerd! Haha :)" but in reality only likes the original 150(Gen1), dismissing all other pokemon after that to be stupid,ugly or uninspired.
Therefore, they have not played a pokemon game since gen1.

Chad: Dude! Why are you playing that shitty pokemon black crap?! Original 150 for life son!
Dylan: Shit man i dont know, maybe cause i like pokemon?
Chad: Lol weak bro! You aint a true pokemon fan if you play that new stuff, the pokemon all look like crap and the new legendaries are shit! I played pokemon blue when i was 7 bro, its like my childhood! The new stuff ruined the franchise!
Dylan: Oh okay right, out of curiosity, what was your team when you played blue?
Chad: Lvl 100 charizard and mewtwo son! My pokemon team is a two man army lol!
Dylan: eat a dick and die.

Pokemon

A fun game made by Nintendo. Originally created in Japan, the game was the inspiration for the TV show (or anime) not the other way around. The game came first. At the beginning there were 151 pokemon, but Nintendo got greedy, and instead of letting the games die gracefully, they had to keep it going. The result is now over 380 Pokemon that (al after 250, anyway) look like circles and blobs with arms and legs. The television show has not fared as well either. The once exciting plot is now stale, dry, and boring. Oh well. Guess its just another thing that jumped the shark.

Also, teh games are just remakes of the original plot of red and blue...does nobody agree with me here???

I havent watched an episode of Pokemon since I was about 11 years old. I tuned in for the first time in years, and was surprised at how much the show had turned to crap.

pokemon heart gold

i havent played it, but it looks like the best pokemon game ever (along with soul silver) IMO. my favorate pokemon games were gold and silver, and this game aloong with its counterpart has everything from the original games, but they are presented in a much more epic way. the game looks better than any other pokemon game ive played for a handheld... the amount of pokemon and special events presented is staggering... the pokethlon looks like a good sub for contests... and the music is beautiful with its deloghtful remixes. also, ill get to use my favorate starter, cyndaquil :D. if you want, go look it up. if you hate pokemon, thats cool too. but hey, just know next spring, ill be starting my johto journey again for the first time in 10 years..

pokemon heart gold is said to be the greatest pokemon game ever. buy it in japanese, wait until it comes out in english, or hack it. imo, it looks epic and i cant wait until spring 2010!
