Miniar is a poetic form built on intensity through brevity.
It consists of exactly 4 lines — no more, no less.
Each poem must have a title.
There are no rules for syllable count and rhyme is optional.
Miniar poems are meant to be emotionally direct and deliberately compact —
a flash of thought, feeling, or truth distilled into just four lines.
Born not to impress — but to express.
From impulse, not perfection.
From truth, not tradition.
A Miniar invites a shift — often subtle, often sharp — usually in the final line.
That last line may sting, surprise, question, or clarify.
It’s not a rule — it’s an instinct.

🎨 Why “Miniar”?
The name fuses miniature and art —
because that’s what each Miniar is:
A complete work in a small space.
A shard of emotion.
A fragment of memory.
A whisper that lands like a thunderclap.
Unlike traditional forms (like haiku or tanka), Miniar doesn’t bow to nature, syllables, or structure.
It bows only to truth — in its simplest, clearest form.

It's a new type of poetry.

Minimalism

Not just an aesthetic, but a way of life. This philosophy is characterized by owning only essentials, and not buying anything that you won't use. You must make as much utility as you can out of a thing. Space cannot be wasted with superfluousness. Accessories, swag, beauty, boring or unproductive activity, and useless objects are not recommended. Minimalism is wrongly associated with sleek, white, and boring products, but those things are often NOT actually minimalist because they have no use other than looking aesthetic. Minimalism is about essentialism and materialism, not appearance. Minimalism is not anti-color or anti-fun.

I only have 3 outfits in my closet, 3 close friends, and 2 meals a day because I am practicing Minimalism.

Margarita-Minivan

A game where one person tries to direct conversation in the direction of issues related to margaritas, and that person's opponent tries to direct conversation in the direction of minivans. A player's offensive turn ends when the person allows himself or herself to be dragged into the other person's topic. The person whose offensive turn lasts longest wins. Optional: third parties can try to "mess with" the opponents by trying to trick them into talking about the opponent's topic. (This is called a "Third Party Psychout" or "Curveball.")
