Click-bait

Click-bait is something that someone uses a thing that usually to get someone attention. After they clicked it's not what they wanted. Common on Youtube and ROBLOX. Click-bait titles most likely have a name like this: ''I ALMOST DIED'' or ''PRANKING IN THE HOOD (GONE WRONG)''. Those are things that never happen in the video. No one almost dies and no one pranks in the hood (usually actors). The other way people click-bait is when something happened in the video they make it look more dramatic on the thumbnail and the title. People also like to add sexual things to the thumbnail or title to grab peoples attention. For example: ''THE MOST HOTTEST GAME EVER'' It turns out to be some first-person shooter game. The other way people click-bait is they say a title but they don't finish it so you can get curious to click on the video. For example: ''WE NEED TO TELL YOU SOMETHING'' or ''WHO DID THIS TO ME?!''.

Click-bait sucks.

You know that moment...When you see something cool...you click on it...but that cool thing isn't there ? Yep that's clickbait.

If you don't know what clickbait is by now... well, here it is:

Clickbait: content that is labelled with an extremely exciting/sensational title but with content nothing close to it.

Point is, you click on it and:
1. The person who posted the clickbait gets a view;
2. The website who made it gets ad money;
3. You get shown a scam.

The point of clickbait is to entice you to click on something. Once you've clicked, the baiter gets some kind of benefit while you get disappointed.

If you want to avoid clickbait, avoid:
>ANYTHING IN ALL CAPS.
>A billion question marks!!!!!!!!!!!
>"NOT CLICKBAIT"
>"GONE SEXUAL"
>"Experts/Doctors/ Baffled"
>"Simple Trick"
>Anything Where Each First Letter In Every Word Is Capitalised.
>Anything you see at the bottom of a site (Recommended by Taboola, etc.).

Clickbaiter is a person, who titles their video/article to something, that isn't related to their video/article. They just want views/clicks to get popular/viral.

Clickbait Video title: I AM BETTER THAN NINJA IN FORTNITE
Clickbaiter's Video content: "So I am watching some Fortnite videos!"
