The random item one buys when purchasing an embarassing item, such as condoms or gas reliever in order to offset the awkwardness one feels toward the cashier.

When buying a pack of gum so you don't walk up to the register only holding gas-x, the gum is your item of shame

The same thing as shampee; that is, bottles of shampoo that somebody has mistaken (either unintentionally or intentionally) as urinals.

drive of shame

It involves a sprint to your car in his underwear and shirt, surreptitiously trying to put on your bra on at stoplights without attracting attention from neighboring cars, and lurking in your car a block from home so you can know when your roommate leaves for work.
