A character mixtape is a music playlist dedicated to a character from another form of media, or a character of one's own creation (an original character), usually through sites like Spotify, Youtube, etc. These mixtapes are of different music genres that said character would listen to, rather than fully basing off of the character's personality, background, and appearance, unlike a character playlist.

Dave: I made a character mixtape based on King Dice! It's very jazz-oriented.

Marcie: Oh these are such cool artists, I can see him listening to these guys.

And I HAVE constructed compelling narratives myself. That have been implemented. I live a compelling narrative. It's like a Death Note-esque situation I'm in. Or Black Mirror. The creators of BOTH respective shows have paid homage and/or bought the derivative elements.
