Pick'em

An event, usually occurring in Physical Education. Used to select teams for recreational sports in class. A captain is usually selected for each team, and they pick a player to join their team. The more popular or more athletic students are usually picked early, while the unfit and unpopular are usually picked last. Nobody EVER wants to be picked last, as it is seen as demeaning.

Joe: Did you hear the big news?
Jack: We play dodgeball in gym today.
Joe: Oh yeah?
Jack: And that's not all, we had a pick'em, and when it came down to either picking that dorky John kid or that fat Jim kid, Jim shit himself, and Johnny fainted!
Joe: Well, I sure hope I'm not picked last!

Pick Me Girl

A girl who seeks validation from men. They often act different around men than they do girls, their catch phrases could be something like: "I'm not like other girls, I don't like dresses, don't wear makeup and I AM NOT dramatic!" or "I'm not like other girls, I hang out with boys/men because their less problematic!" etc. Some say things like: "OMG, I'm SOOO tiny compared to you, STOOPPPP ITTTT!". There are 2 types of pick me girls, one who acts like a girly girl and refers as a small person compared to the guy she's talking to, or the tomboy-ish one who seeks men validation by 'acting like one of the boys' when she's clearly not.

Example 1:

Normal Girl: Ugh, I was up all night trying to find a good makeup look for the party and-
Pick Me Girl: Oh, really?! Could never be me, I don't wear makeup, I'm too natural and definitely not a 'try hard' so that's why I don't wear that stuff.
Normal Girl: Umm...Okay.

Example 2:
*Talking To A Guy*
Pick Me Girl: OMG! STOOOPP! You know I'm tinier than you so stop bullying me, owy...omg, look at how tiny my hands are compared to yours, let's do a hand comparison-
Guy: Yeah, NO. Let's not do that, in fact, let's not talk at all-
