Bopper

Someone who slacks off, usually in college. They either don't show up to class, or they show up late (late-bopper), leave early (early-bopper) or don't bring the course materials (like a book-bopper). The best ones are "sleep boppers". They sleep during class.
Basically someone who just doesn't give a fuck.

Ashley is such a bopper... she never comes to class, and when she does, she falls asleep.

Noun from the 1970's and 1980's popularized by the cult film The Warriors. Urban gang members who will rumble at a moments notice. Potentially violent gang members.

One of Lynne Thigpen's iconic roles was that of her as a DJ in the film The Warriors who kept referring on the air to gang members as 'boppers: OK, lets get down to it boppers, we're gonna have to do better out there, our friends (The Warriors) just made it past one of the minor-league teams (The Orphans)....remember boppers, be lookin good!
