Someone who claims friendships with people they've only met once, don't even particularly like or add friends of friends on facebook or myspace just to boost their numbers.

Also the types of people who freely throw around the word 'love' or become affectionate too early in a friendship.

Someone who is constantly saving their progress in video games/word documents/paint or photoshop, etc., for fear of losing their work.

Since her computer had the tendency to spontaneously shut-down, Maria became a save-whore when she was writing her essay.

A person who accepts all friend invitations on their facebook page even from people they do not know just to pad their "friend" total to appear more popular than they really are.

Mike: Did you see how many friends Patty has on her Facebook page? I didn't know she was so popular!!

Greg: Yeah, I saw it. She's not really that popular, she's just a Facebook whore.
