Shade Tree

Basically, someone who works on their car by themselves, as a "do-it-yourself" project. He/She often employs jerry-rig techniques to fix his/her automobile. Could also apply to anyone who is a "do-it-yourselfer" in any aspect of life.

Jexmas Tree

A tree that is decorated for Christmas (Xmas), by a Jewish person. It could contain Jewish decorations, but does not have to. Most common in households where there are both Chanukah and Christmas celebrators. Most commonly seen in the New Jersey-New York area of the United States.

Alexandra decorated her Jexmas Tree with her family, since her mother was Jewish and her father wasn't.
