spelling alphabet

Not to be confused with "phonetic alphabet", this kind of alphabet is a set of words used to represent the letters of an alphabet in oral communication, especially over a two-way radio or telephone. The words chosen, i.e. Alfa, Bravo, Charlie, Delta, etc., are meant to represent the letters sound sufficiently different from each other to clearly differentiate them.

Whenever I’m on the radio with my team, I always use the spelling alphabet to avoid confusion—like saying 'Alfa, Bravo, Charlie' instead of just letters.

Spiraling

Seriously guys, I cannot stress enough how important it is for you to turn that off immediately. Like, my ability to see (theoretically) how a thing could (conceivablely) be the case and articulate those things and then taking steps to ensure that (if my inference were correct) you wouldn't be able to steal from, kill, or dispose of me without suffering some form of consequences... IN NOW WAY MEANS I expected it to work or for any of this to happen. Like I told Jordan earlier, I did it peripherally and forgot about it because I was primarily concerned with the fact that fucking schizophrenia isn't real and is a thing that people are actively doing to other people. And if it IS going off it is (both) happening faster and slower than I would have expected initially. I have no idea what the timeline would look like on that. But I do know for certain that nothing I do or say is going to turn it off once it starts. And that it only starts once I have been robbed and/or imprisoned and/or killed. And technically you are doing, like, 1.5 maybe 2 of those things. Whichever ones you are not actively doing you are actively TRYING to do right now but if the switch has been flipped then there is literally nothing you can do without incinerating your own family.

trademarked spelling

The practice of spelling a word incorrectly on purpose in order to make it easier to find it on the internet or in an internet search. The practice seems to have come about only since the commercialization of the internet.

There is a big new shopping mall called the mall of Millenia and they spell the word millennia incorrectly on purpose which I would call a trademarked spelling since they can trademark Millenia and call it their own word.

Bad Spelling Disorder

A 100% REAL disorder where you brain cannot mentally put together words correctly. No matter how many times the said person reads or writes the correct word, when spelling it on their own it doesn't click. Similar to Dyslexia but not the same in any means. Doesn't effect reading.

Mom: Dumbfuck probably does.

citation-spelling nightmare

What a member of da "area's finest" --- especially one who never did too well in grammar-school --- finds himself faced with when trying to scribble out a summons-to-appear slip involving people/objects/locales with less-than-common names.

News flash --- Flustered MPs at da local naval-base encountered a major citation-spelling nightmare this evening when trying to write up a PECCARY who had committed da PECCADILLO of illegally entering da ARMORY and engaging in a PECKADILLO with an ARMADILLO dat it met there.
