Root Shooter

A shooter (drink) made by dropping a shot glass filled with root beer schnapps into a glass of amber colored beer, then chugging it down as it foams up.

Drink goes down smooth but tastes identical to root beer soda but can get you drunk quickly.

We did root shooters till we puked!

Usually used as a verb when something clearly sucks. (also known as Hugroot)

We were at a another keg party on Ackerman that really hugged root. It was a total sausage fest.

root band

One notch below a hair band. Any '80s/ early '90s glam or pop metal band whose music is so appallingly awful that it doesn't evem deserve to be called a hair band.

Poison is a decent hair band. Nothing special, but they have some listenable tunes. Winger, on the other hand, doesn't even rise to that level. They're what I'd call a root band.

saskra root

An herb from the plant, Saskra Fortissima that was once one of the natural ingredients in Coca-cola, but can nolonger be obtained.

Coke tastes funny since they stopped using saskra root.
