Dixon, Illinois

Being the homewown of Ronald Reagan, the city of Dixon is small but sweet. It seems dickish and absolutely terrible when you first move in depending on the neighborhood, and the highschool is among the town the biggest hotspot for gay people. Its yearly Petunia festival is nice and pretty but doesn't cover up the Scout war hiding in the parade lines. There are tons of creative and imaginable minds in this small town but the town is just as, and almost more, broke off its ass just like the state its in.
This town has a history of terrible police records in its citizens, one of the things it would be notorious for would be the DHS shooting that occured on May 16th, 2018. The people of Dixon can be nice if you pass them the right way, but if you get on anyones bad side, they will always have that one friend who will stab you with a rusted over pole straight to the gut.
The town's scenery is nice, and the buildings are authentic. It all looks pretty neat except for the highschool in the summer of 2018 due to it being under construction since March or so the same year due to a finding of mold in the walls and the numerous cracks in the school.

Elmwood Park, Illinois (EP)

It is common to see a blue-collar worker driving a Range Rover, Mercedez, BMW or some other luxury vehicle clearly out of their price range. By keeping the used car clean (and tinting windowns/adding rims), they are able to appear wealthier than they really are. In reality, most Elmwood Park residents are city workers, police officers, firefighters, construction workers and laborers. Elmwood Park is known for it's Italian background. There are several restaurants and bars that try to capitalize on this "distinction", but most of the times people are just trying too hard. A common phrase in Elmwood Park is, "Do you know who my Grandpa was?" The problem is the only people who know what the hell they are talking about is their neighbor who also had a "famous" Grandpa. The pride each resident has in it's town is almost dilusional. If you get to know the people and places in EP, however, you will quickly learn many people are lying.. to themselves, to each other and to their kids. It's a look-how-guido-I-am town filled with blue-collar workers driving cars they can't afford, doing drugs left and right and hoping their local politician helps them get a job somehow. After all, DON'T YOU KNOW WHO MY GRANDPA WAS?

Illinois

A horrible state in the northern Central Plains..
Extremely corrupt politics.
A shooting, stabbing, or mugging everyday (usually in Chicago area.)
High Taxes.
Can get all four seasons in one week of time.
Horrible roadways.
Always feuding with Wisconsin.
Anyone who doesn't live there only knows about Chicago.
Anyone who does live there, pretends they don't.

"If they as you where your from don't say Illinois...say Chicago. Or better yet don't say anything at all."

If you don't like the weather in Illinois, wait a few minutes, it'll change.
