The day April 16 was chosen because it was the day u/DeepFuckingValue bought in to a grand total of 200,000 shares of GameStop, ultimately 20x his original position of 10,000 shares just months prior.

DFV Day is a day to celebrate DFV's massive balls, which he humbly, willingly, and openly shared with a massive ape population.
