contact geek

A contact geek is a person who left to their own devices would not typically be a geek. A person who is a contact geek understands anime, videogame, coding and/or science references only because they've heard these terms mentioned by their geek friends and at some point have suffered an explanation by those same friends. A good manager will often become a contact geek as a matter of survival.

On the show "Saved By the Bell", Zack was the coolest character in high school but he was also a contact geek due to his close friendship with Screech.

no-contact dishwashing

A manual dishwashing technique that involves extremely limited contact with the dirty dish: you just spray dishwasher soap on it, open the tap and hope for the best.

Usually employed when there's no more clean dishes and you want to struggle on for an extra meal.

I got home so hungry and tired I couldn't bother to wash dishes properly, so I fixed something up and went with no-contact dishwashing instead.

full contact ice fishing

ice fishing with numerous unattended fishing poles, when a fish becomes hooked on one of the poles, everybody that sees it rushes to be the first person to grab it thereby claiming the fish as thier own. usually degresses to tripping, throwing things at people, and hockey style checking fairly quickly. players usually incur injuries and broken fishing equiptment.

dude i broke my favorite ice fishing pole and two ribs full contact ice fishing yesterday, but i got that 26" char.
