A fictitious mineral that consists of dubious and erroneous claims, and that remains rigid and unaltered by any influence or pressure. It is commonly encountered in the beliefs of people who reject any challenge or contradiction to their views.

Eg 1: Time and time again
The apocryolite stands by their falsetto
A song they sing loud and proud
Only to be followed by the selfsame

Eg 2: The news casters keep spewing the same apocryolite view.

Post-Apocalyptic empathy

When a person who has lived through a great number of hardships in life shows the appropriate amount of baseline empathy, but the empathetic expression is couched in a level of practicality, survival and utilitarianism.

Jean-Claude Van Damme did a great job at conveying post-apocalyptic empathy in the 1989 movie Cyborg. There are small moments where he conveys great emotional responses in only split second intervals because he's mostly having to continue kicking ass.
