Yertis is a D'ni word. (D'ni is the language used in the MYST games created by CYAN WORLDS.)

Yertis (yertis) was a plant that grew on Riven.
It was a small plant with yellow berries. Those berries were collected by the Rivenese and a poisonous substance was extracted. This poison was used for hunting food.
