Eventually made into an abortion of a movie by that fucking hack Paul Verhoeven, who admitted after making the movie that he tried reading the book but stopped after a few pages because it was depressing.

At least that redhead chick had nice tits.

Troomer

A pejorative term for adult transgender men and women, or nonbinary adults, who interact with underage children, in person or online, and are perceived to "groom" said children for the purposes of future sexual interactions (before or after the child reaches the age of consent), or simply to influence the child concerning their gender identity and sexuality (without the knowledge of their parents).

Troomer is widely used in memes on 4Chan, Reddit, etc.

Memes typically show a trans wojak discussing sex and sexuality with a child online, list behaviors and motivations, or simply place the image with screencaps of tweets and messageboard posts by trans women expressing a desire to interact with children in restrooms, locker rooms, sleepovers, etc.

Less commonly, the biologically female enby wojak is shown teaching a classroom of young children about pronouns and puberty blockers, or asking age-inappropriate sexual questions in a school environment.

Often the Troomer is shown as a furry, likely due to widely-shared news stories of transgender furries grooming or sexually assaulting children.

The word is a portmanteau of "transgender" and "groomer", and plays off of the "oomer" online linguistic trend, which began with "Boomer" (Baby Boomer) contrasted against "Zoomer" (Gen Z), and expanded to include "Coomer" (a pornography/masturbation addict), "Doomer" (a hopeless, pessimistic person), "Consoomer" (a person who spends to excess on entertainment, tech, fads) and more.

"That Troomer in the chatroom kept saying I was really mature for my age, asked me what my favorite anime was, if I had any crushes, and tried to add me on Snapchat - I should probably tell my parents about this; I'm only 13 and he was 20."

"I don't use Discord; their staff is full of Troomers, and the FBI says they turned a blind eye to pedophile furries grooming kids on their servers, despite getting loads of reports from users on and off the site..."

"My kids second grade teacher is a Troomer; she makes the class call her 'them' and told my seven year old kid that he can pick his own pronoun and take puberty blockers - I went to the school board meeting and they called be a bigot, so now I'm looking into homeschooling."
