Sissy is a word used to embarrass a man, who is overly sensitive and highly emotional. Sissy types of men usually get hurt easily by anything that criticizes or questions his ego or pride. Sissy types of men usually never become anything because they never improve by taking in the criticism. They tend to hold grudge on people who criticize, well intended or not. Sissy types of men may appeal to women who are tough for a while, because they appear as kind and warm hearted. However, many women run away from them after seeing the level in which they must baby-sit their men.
Friend : "Why did you break up with Daniel?"
Me : "He's handsome and all.. but he is too much of a sissy. I couldn't trust my future with him."
