Theistic Satanism

Theistic Satanism is the most popular and common form of Satanism. This type of Satanism is not what is portrayed like in today's world. These Satanists(as well as all other variants of Satanism) are not evil, don't kill or commit any crimes. Satanists work their entire lives on being more spiritual and more in-tune with the earth. Theistic Satanist know that Satan (sometimes referred to as Enki as well as a few other names) and the Gods/Demons to be real beings. Through rituals and meditation, Theistic Satanists work to awaken energy in their body called the Kudalini Spirit, once this has awoken, the individual has reached godhead and will become a Demon/God after death. This practice takes a long time to achieve, taking more than one life, which means one most go through many lives to achieve godhead.

I am dedicated Theistic Satanist, and proud.

Theistic Satanism is a wonderful lifestyle full of self fulfillment.

Satanist

Free thinkers, people who can think for themselves and have faith within themselves instead of putting their lives into the hands of someone who no one knows if they really exsist.
They don't worship satan or god...or any higher power...they worship themselves...they believe they are their own god and that they are responsible for their own actions.

Satanism is very different from the worshipping of the Christian Satan, or demons. It's an atheistic philosophy of life, celebrating man's carnal instincts, and not to supress your indulgences. Anton Szandor LaVey was the first person to give this way of living a life, and he chose Satanism. If Satanism has nothing to do with the Devil or demons, why does it have the word Satan in it? Satan is a symbol for indulgence, for what other people perceive as "evil". We believe that man is God, so birthdays are the most important of the Satanic holidays. The other Satanic holidays are the Solstices, and Walpurgisnacht (Hallow's Eve). The symbol of Satanism is the pentagram, with the head of Baphomet in it. There are nine Satanic statements, and eleven Satanic Rules of the Earth. The Satanic Bible was released in 1966, written by LaVey. It contains the books of Satan, Lucifer, Belial, and others. As well, it contains the Thirteen Keys, translated by LaVey himself. So, in short, forget what people tell you about Satanism. It's not doing drugs, killing children, or sacrificing animals, it's a celebration of indulgence and man's body.

satanist

The satanic church was started in the 60's by Anton LaVey, so logic would follow that he would be able to define a satanist better than Oprah or whoever hosts Dateline or 20/20. A satanist doesn't believe in god or satan. A satanist is an atheist that believes people should be responsible for their actions.

Satanism itself addresses problems it finds with Judeo-Christian beliefs. They find that telling one's children that they should behave correctly not because its the decent thing to do but because some ridiculous land of fire will make their 'afterlife' really shitty is poor parenting.

The reason why satanists are thought of as scary people in black coats that sacrifice goats and abduct children springs from 2 sources. The first is sensationalist media outlets like Oprah and Dateline and 20/20 and all the daytime talk shows.

The second is the real reason why people believe these shows and thats the tendency of Christians to need to find evil where it doesn't exist. Christians themselves tend to be egotistical (because they only follow their faith when convenient) and like to feel more pious and self-righteous by creating an evil boogeyman that doesn't exist so they can blame society's decay on them.

Christian douchebag: Yeah so this little kid has gone missing, its gotta be the Satanists.

Non-idiot: Hmm, or it could be just a regular criminal.

Christian douchebag: No! Satanists ruin everything. Satanists make me ignore my faith by beating the hell out of my wife and sleeping with my secretary! Its okay though, as long as I go to church a lot and tell god I'm sorry for beating up my wife I'm good. Loopholes are great.
