A form of typing in which certain letters are replaced by numbers or other symbols that look relatively similar to the original letter, such as using '3' instead of an 'E' or '1' instead of 'I' or 'L'. Typing Quirks are commonly seen as beneficial to people with Dyslexia, as the symbol-replacements catch the reader's attention. They are also commonly used among emo culture, and Homestuck fans.

When a musical producer adds too many stabs, sounds, and effect elements to a track that it winds up confusing the listener to what the hell they are listening too.
A/R from the label said my track was too straight forward, so I added some synths stabs for quirkiness, however I feel I at this point I may have over-quirked it.

The practice of choosing one's friends based on any interesting quirks, hobbies or characteristics they may have, in hopes that having an interesting group of friends will result in oneself becoming interesting. Personality is hardly taken into account. Quirk hunters tend to treat their prizes like accessories and trade them like Pokémon cards.
Vanessa's a real treasure, I tell you. She rides a Vespa to work and has a pet chinchilla.
After three solid months of quirk hunting, Rodrigo had friended a Renaissance fair-loving guido, a Venetian carnival mask-collecting stripper, and an Arts student who wears eighties band shirts unironically!
