“Junioritis” refers to the tendency of high school or college students to lose motivation and prematurely reduce their academic effort during their junior year.

Chris stopped regularly attending class during the end of his junior year when he realized that most of the world’s BA programs take three years. In his mind, he had essentially completed his BA. Chris had Junioritis.
