This is a term used to describe when someone or something is ruined / changed for the worse. The origin is unclear but is thought to be when somebody added JAM to a meal but now is widely employed In golf / social events when somebody wrecks the occasion.

Why did golf get cancelled? Ahhh somebody did a JAMO.
