Born Dec. 21, 1982, he is arguably one of the best college basketball players known to man. He attended WVU for his junior and senior years. During his senior year, he averaged 18.5 points per game, with a remarkable 59.7% shooting rate from the field. During his two collegiate years, Gansey and fellow teammate Kevin Pittsnogle led the team to two consecutive appearances in the NCAA tournament, the Elite Eight and the Sweet Sixteen, respectively. Obviously, Michael Gansey is my personal hero.
