You have your i-Pod/i-Tunes on shuffle, you're jamming out doing your everyday thing, then BOOM! song switches to a completely irrevelant song and ruins your exuberant mood.

Frank: Man, I was rocking out to "The Chili Peppers" earlier I got in my usual calm, moviated mood then BOOM! ..my wife's "Rocket Summer" starting playing and I just lost all hope..

Bob: Ahh! Frank I'm sorry. Sounds like a iTune buzzkill.

Can also be someone or something that spoils the mood for just about anything.

We were watching a great movie, with an enjoyable plot, good acting and top notch special effects. Then Bob starts nitpicking something that once we thought about it, it totally ruined the movie for us. That guy is such buzzkill.

So, I'm talking with a few diffrent people on MSN Messenger, alternating between them. We've all got interesting, intelligent conversations going. Anyway, suddenly one of them chews me out because he feels I'm not giving him enough attention. He totally killed my mood. What a buzzkill.

1.When someone adds something not funny at all to a funny joke makes you sad in the process.

2. A person who constantly makes everything funny really stupid and unfunny and also makes negative comments on everything positive.

1. Person 1: Dude, the Browns are so beast they are totally gonna win the superbowl.

Person 2: BEAST LIKE YOUR MOM LAST NIGHT!

Person 1: Buzzkill, no wait that made me sad you thought that was funny, buzzkilljoy.
