virginia's got a bit of everything for everyone. For the younger population, city night life and malls galore if you look in the right place, and for them older rich republicans, horse farms and quiet country stretches of land in the western part. Personally I would stick to the southeast coast (Va. Beach/Hampton Roads) or NoVa (Fairfax County, Springfield, DC influence) where living for young adults is way more interesting than the corridor of nothingness I endure in the shen. valley.

It's not THAT south here. Especially in the diverse populations inhabiting the previously mentioned places. But some places where you could steer clear of: Southwestern (coal country, unless you like mountain after mountains of it),and south central (no idea what goes on down near danville). Other than those, you could settledown easy in places like charlottesville (voted best place to live in the country a few years ago by better homes and gardens) or williamsburg, alexandria, fairfax. Nice places. Just make sure to hang around the right crowd for you.

Virginia: a real mix of everything. I guess it's for lovers, so just look in the right place for it...

This place has it all. Good dope, moonshine, lots of guns and hard working folks. If you can get over yourself and look past gratuitous flaunting of the rebel flag its a cool place. Most VA residents do not consider NOVA as a part of VA. NOVA is kinda like D.C.'s mentally challenged little sister that spends most of her days locked in the closet drinking fluorinated tap water from a dog bowl. If you want to work hard and peruse the real American dream come to VA. If you want to spend your life in traffic and a pool of wannabe cultural piss move to NOVA.

A state that looks like a dead turkey, is divided by every weather map on TV, has one of the largest malls on the east coast, does not have incestuous lovers, (that'd be West Virginia if you're into that kind of thing.), is full of people who, like me, aren't shotgun owning old men, and has diverse wildlife and natural attractions. We don't have southern accents unless we're right on the southern border, no one says "OMG VIRGINIA VAGINAAAA!" unless they're under the age of eight, we don't hump our uncles, and we don't shoot trespassers, believe it or not.

Young Virginian: HEY, ZOMG VIRGINIA VAGINA!
Adolescent Virginian: Hey, I've never humped my uncle.
Middle Aged Virginian: Hey, my kids aren't the product of myself and my brother.
Elderly Virginian: Hey, if you hop on my lawn I won't shoot you in a moonshine-induced haze.

An American state that is the most divided, the north part of the state is filled with your typical liberal feminist Karen. the south part is more white hillbilly redneck carrying a shotgun on me 24/7, Republican type of people. Minorities are invading the Northern part of the state, so many Blacks, Asians and Hispanics . This state is also very bipolar as fuck, people here switch up in less than a second on fucking everything.
