Stay-On

n. An unscheduled, often coveted, virtual meeting between or among a subset of co-workers occurring immediately following a larger, scheduled internal Zoom, Teams, etc. meeting where the unscheduled meeting participant do not leave the meeting; rights to this post-meeting "real estate" are established by standard "dibs" rules which may generally vest only during the scheduled meeting itself, absent agreement to the contrary.
James needed to get clarity on a couple of items from the Company's legal counsel so he claimed the Stay-On after the Friday morning executive check-in meeting.
