We tried to get her to get into our weekend out of town but she was being a phonie.

A friend that comes over to visit but doesn't. He

Comes over to play on his phone and not socialize

Just plays on the phone and looks up every now and then so they are a bunch of (phonies)

My friends came over to visit the other day but didn't they just took her phone out log online and played on it. (so I called them Phonies)

two or more girls walking through a store,mall,parking lot or down the side walk totally oblivious to the rest of the world because they have their eyes and hands permanently attached to their phones.

While shopping at Wegmans today I ran into the same two phonies six times.

My sister Mary is a real phonie. No matter what you need to know, she can find it in seconds using her iPhone.
