Nigel is a term used to describe a person who doesn't show up after making plans or uses shifty means to avoid meeting up with friends who were nice enough to invite his/her/it's ungrateful ass to a social event.

An unreliable annoying individual that spends his time recording everything around him. Often a Nigel tends to disappear for no exact reason and comes back as nothing happened. A Nigel is lazy, extremely idiotic and additionally to all this, usually acts like a combination of it all. Most of the time a Nigel has a big ego and believes he is the best at most activities, they tend to think they prefer being single but actually can't get any girls so they hide behind their egos.
