Lesbian Until Graduation LUG

someone who for whatever personal/logistical reasons decides to be a lesbian until graduation. the seriousness of this can range from officially identifying as a lesbian (possibly accompanied by an elaborate coming out process) to avoidance of the offical term and simply fucking around with girls. rather like cinderella after midnight, these are the girls who revert back to the male half of the species after leaving the college bubble. a very common occurance at women's colleges. also has a counter-part in the term bi until graduation (BUG). most frequently used on womens college's campuses, the term may also be used as an insult or warning and is oftentimes by other women who have more romantic or sexual experience with other women (AKA lesbians/bi chicks who have come to terms with their sexuality earlier on and are talking about the chicks who're just now starting to explore).

College Graduate Dichotomy

When a person graduates from college, although they have a degree they may not be able to get a job because they don’t have experience. But, they can’t get experience unless they get a job.

The term was first coined by Dain Lewis on his blog the smart college grad.

Jack graduated from college with a degree in business. But, Jack didn't work at any businesses while in college. Jack then couldn't get a job after college because he didn't have experience. But, he couldn't gain any experience because no one would hire him. Jack found himself in the college graduate dichotomy.

The Graduate

The 1967 classic starring Dustin Hoffman, Anne Bancroft, and Katherine Ross. The Graduate is about a recent college graduate (Hoffman) who is seduced by the wife (Bancroft) of his father's business partner, then ends up falling in love with her daughter (Ross). Anne Bancroft's character became one of the most famous characters in movie history, Mrs. Robinson. The popular song "Mrs. Robinson" by Simon and Garfunkel was used in the movie.

It was based on a book by Charles Webb with the same title written in 1963.

The Graduate is one of the best films that came out of the 60's.

Graduation

The exact definition of Graduation is catch 22. Just a giant clusterfuck of emotions in which you don't know whether to be happy or sad. Nervous, or excited. Ugh. Graduation sucks.

Example: "I cried so much at my graduation, I was scared to be leaving behind everything I'd ever known for 12 years of my life. But at the same time, excited to be starting something new and adventurous."

You could say someone graduated from McDonald’s when he looks and sounds very expert about a topic he is talking about as if he mastered it, even though he cannot back it up.

- Dips are absolutely the worst chest exercise!! They are good at working triceps and lower chest but not the upper chest. Avoid it!!
