A person who gains innocent (not malicious, that’s a sadist) enjoyment from watching another persons misfortune and suffering. Such people are often found watching sad moments from various cartoons and anime while secretly delighting in the misery of it all.

Person 1: Why are there so many “sad moments” compilations of various TV shows on YouTube?
Person 2: Just gloomjoys helping other gloomjoys I guess.

glomming

A practice commonly used at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) by men desiring female companionship. Due to the lopsided demographics (75% men, 25% women), one finds a dearth of women at Caltech. Thus, several men tend to court a woman at once. So, glomming refers to the practice of several men hooking onto (not literally) to one woman.

At a dance, one can find several men dancing with one woman. They are glomming her. Or, one might find several men walking to class with one woman. These men are glomming.

Someone that's never at "home," in the traditional sense of the word, but somehow always feels at home.

A glomad defines home as any place they are or want to be. A glomad travels freely, lingering as long as they desire, creating ties in a new world without borders.

Their lives maybe spent on couches, hostels, short-term rentals but are defined by the incredibleness of their experiences.

Entrepreneurs, remote workers, digital workers all fall into this category

Gloom Monger

Fear peddling sad sack hell bent on scaring the bejesus out of all insundry with grim warnings of near future events.

Often associated with naturally occuring disasters such as cyclones or eartch quakes. A Doom Monger can take many forms including a news reader or a politician as well as blogger or facebook acquaintance.

Gloom Monger There's a tropical low sitting a million miles away that might turn in to a cyclone and make its way the million miles to us and kill everyone.
