Doomer

Not trusting in people isnt the same as giving up on everybody, or being a true cynic. A true cynic wears a humanitarian facade.

The girl hated anybody who brought out the cynical nature in her, the one that was masked beneath the pseudo strong, positive, optimistic facade she wore to parties that people who attended seemed to think still needed her presence for some reason. She thought other people were her definition of a doomer, and that she was not one. The people she was trying to make fun of weren't the kind of people who gave up on anything in life.

Doomer

Typically used by ignorant people to define and label someone seeing the truth and who is not happy with what he sees, and expresses those feelings to indicate the world is going towards the wrong direction. Those who label others as "Doomers" say that the "Doomer" has given up on humanity because of one single bad human or some other incident that affected them to think humanity is towards it's end. Those who call others Doomer will most likely be like those who drown by the flood at the time of Noah. Noah was preaching about the "end-time", they would probably have called him a "Doomer", but even though Noah is not an evil man who laughed at the end, he sure had the right to do so, when the whole world who most likely laughed at him, drowned and DIED at the end while he survived. Read between the lines. Most likely someone who became a "Doomer" had their heart broken and Jesus comes for the broken-hearted and gives them all truth.

"What happened to Suzy, she was always partying and then one day she just disappeared, heard she was doing some gym, depressed about her boyfriend and stuff?" "Her boyfriend broke up and she thought the world would end when her heart broke, she became a Doomer".
