chugcore

1.A genre of music that is known predominately for breakdowns, and heavily distorted guitar chugging The less technicality and less amount of varying notes played, the better.

2. Bands whose songs mainly sound like several, slightly varying breakdownsand have little variability to distinguish songs apart. Having a frontman screaming into the microphone helps tell the difference between the songs.

3.A song with as minimal melody or riffing as possible focused around writing breakdowns. Meant to be conductive for the large bros and scrawny scenekids in the pit to hardcore dance to.

4.When the guitarists in a band only stay in drop A tuning.

5.When the pit at a show is only has hardcore dancers in the pit (sometimes there might be crowdsurfers), and it is typically unseen for people to start a legitimate mosh pit.

Chug

A racial slur for Native Americans in the mid-west and west coast of Canada. typically used amongst Native Americans themselves. The slur refers to the alcoholic problems common amongst the Native American Population. "Alcoholic Chug" and "Drunken Chug" are also common slurs in place of the original.

Look at that chug over there, probably wasted from all the alcohol.

Engineer-speak for a problem or part of a problem where numbers can be "plugged" into an equation, at which point the answer can be "chugged" by a calculator.

Yeah, so then you have all the variables and then it's just plug 'n chug to get the answer.

chug line

The angle that, if passed, will result in a rough pour into a glass from the carton. The chug line determines wether you will get a smooth pour or a rough pour into your glass.

If you are above the chug line or angle, the liquid escaping the container and the air entering the container will both be able to move through the mouth of the container at the same time. If you are holding a container below the chug line (lower angle) the ammount of liquid escaping exceeds the ammount of air entering, creating a vacume. Once this happens, air will rush into the container, pushing back the liquid. The process then repeats rapidly, creating an uneven pour or "chug".

If you want the best pour, stay just below the chug line.
