Spanish (from Spain) word for cool. Mostly used by children or young women. Refreshing and colloquial way to express you think something is nice or cool.

Ex;
- Te gusta mi nuevo vestido? - (Do you like my new dress?)
- Si, es muy chachi. - (Yes, it's so cool)

A guy into the following: his fraternity, spring break, Dave Matthews, sports bars, chain restaurants, Abercrombie and Fitch, thinly-veiled misogyny. From the character "Chachi" of "Happy Days" and "Joanie Loves Chachi" fame. Oddly, Chachi himself did not fit the above criteria; yet, he embodied the essence of trying way too hard and having no fucking clue.

At my cousin's bachelorette party, we ended up at Senor Frog's - full of chaches. I had to bail.

Origin: Australian/American colloquialism.
Based on Happy Days character.... though evolving over the years...

Used for both Male or Female

Defined: Someone who thinks they are a bit too cool... Generally the person who dresses a bit over the top and/or always trying to "one-up" someone else’s comments, whilst tending to overdo everything they try to do....

Example:

In a Night-club where everyone is in cargo pants and shirts... “chachi” rocks up with the denim jacket and greased back hair, and sun glasses on his head at 2am...thinking he’s a little too good for everyone else at the club.

“Look at that guy over there....what a chachi....!”

Chachi Gonzales

Talented 17 year old dancer born in Houston Texas. Chachi born as Olivia Irene Gonzales was born on Januray 23, 1996 in Houston Texas. She's the yougest of five siblings. She was givin the nickname Chachi which is short for muchachita meaning little girl in spanish, by her family. At the age of 5 she started dancing Ballet and trained for three years. But when watching a hip hop dancing group " Marvelous Moom" perform she became hooked onto hip hop dancing and immedately asked her mom to switch her to Hip Hop. She started dancing for 8 and luckily the school Chachi went to also had a Hip Hop class. At first Chachi was shy but after picking up, she became better and eventually the teacher asked her to lead the class. When Chachi was 15 she auditioned for thecrew I. aM. Me and the crew memeber jaja, Emilio, Brendan, Phillip and moon audtioned and were on ABDC. THey won the shows. Season 6 champions. Chachi does workshops all over the world and teacher classes in Houston as well. Amazing Beautiful Soul!

MOM: WOW amazing dancer who is she?
Me: MOMM! THATS CHACHI GONZALES! how do you not know her? you needa get out more often!?
