a man who does or says something for a woman solely because she is a woman that he has feelings for but when it is not reciprocated back to him equally by her

the simp purposefully altered his workday routine at his workplace to make sure to be around her at a certain time in hopes that he would find something relevant to talk about with her just so he could talk to her despite her never showing any initial signs of attraction towards him

A guy who is overly obsessed with a woman and will go above and beyond to win her over. Despite everything the Simp does for love he remains in the friend zone and never finds his way out. The woman he is obsessed shows no signs of interest in the simp infact does she will openly flirt and show interests in his friends infront of him and yet the simp keeps on simping. The simp will go as fas as making remarks such as, “and he didn’t even do anything today, I’m the one who fixed her house for her” while displaying obvious Traits of jealousy.
