goth: a reflection on the morbid nature in the artist's mind
punk: chains that cordinate and look cool with skate boards.
nerd: a way to show i can wear something bold.

look all sorts of people go in there

A store, which sells a lot of poser stuff. But they do sell some cool band t-shirts, and CDs. I like it, but they need to get rid of the fucking poser shit. As in things for the 11 yr old girls who think they are so punk/goth.

Get the Hot Topic mug.An annoying immature preteen, teenager or young adult who thinks its cool to shop at hot topic and does so souly for that reason. They buy band tees of bands they've never even heard of, and think that wearing wristbands with posessed cartoons on them is all there is to life. Most will eventually grow out of this horrible stage of adolescence but some never do. Sad, but very true.
So I was in the mall, and all of a sudden I see this group of hot topic kids swarming around one of those kiosks that sold shirts with sarcastic messages printed across the front. It was like a swarm of flies on a dead carcas. Discusting.

1) Those who are always looking for the next best thing, due to some underlying issue that prevents them from forming a long term relationship. OR,
2) The ones who have a Peter Pan complex and just never want to grow up.
Most of these toxic bachelors seriously consider settling down once they have a mid-life crisis and see the writing on the wall. Then they try to get married in a hurry to have kids, and to ensure their own immortality through their offspring.
*40 is a race-dependent number. Asians can be considered toxic bachelors if they remain single past 31.

Many people confuse the difference between Masculinity and toxic Masculinity. However, one can be masculine without having toxic Masculinity.
Some beliefs of toxic masculinity is that:
-interactions between men and women always has to be competitive and not cooperative.
-men can never truly understand women and that men and women can never just be friends.
-That REAL men need to be strong and that showing emotion is a sign of weakness... unless it’s anger, that is considered okay.
-The idea that men can never be victims of abuse and talking about it is shameful.
-The idea that REAL men always want sex and are ready for it at any time.
-The idea that violence is the answer to everything and that REAL men solve their problems through violence.
-The idea that men could never be single parents and that men shouldn’t be very interactive in their children’s learning and development and that men should always be the dominant one in the relationship or else he’s a “Cuck.”
-The idea that any interest in a range of things that are strictly considered feminine would be an emasculation of a guy.

Get the Toxic Masculinity mug.A store with goth/punk-esque attire. In most cases, a lot of the merchandise is overpriced, but I still shop there occasionally. A lot of people don't like it, because they think everyone who shops there wants to be a "rebel", goth, punk, or any other preferred label of your choice, but some people shop there because they like the clothes at Hot Topic better than clothes at other stores (i.e. Abercrombie, Abercrombie and Fitch, Banana Republic, etc.).
On a side not, people who argue over or make fun of Hot Topic and it's shoppers need to get a life or a hobby. Fast.
