If something has a substantially higher cost than the materials that went into it, it has a high idiot index, according to Elon Musk. High idiot index items are usually overly complicated to manufacture. This is a term he used internally at his companies, according to his biography written by Walter Isaacson.

Rage Quit Index (RQI)

The score provided by the remaining members of a game or group, after a butt-hurt member departs with a Rage Quit. Typically a 1-10 scale, with 1 being low, and 10 being high. Scores are subjective, but based on the veracity and vitriol of the departing member.

Jimmy Carter Index

A male's way of describing his horniness in semi-mathematical, yet retrofit, electric feel terms. Usually refers to how likely he is to spot women out in public places and "lust in his heart" after them, a la Jimmy Carter's notorious and groundbreaking interview in Playboy Magazine. Unlike "beer goggles," the Jimmy Carter Index refers to one's tendency to lust after co-workers, media figures, and "random passers by" in a non-inebriated state, during broad daylight.
