Kid Shield

An excuse used by a father to explain why he was watching PG rated kids movie on the basis that they were watching it with their daughter or son.

It is a justification for explaining why the manly man was watching something extremely out of character.

Compare and contrast the usage of Kid Shield:

Person 1: I had nothing to do Saturday night so I watched Beauty and the Beast.

Person 2: Yeah, I watched Beauty and the Beast Saturday night with my kids.

When you squeeze your asscheeks together to protect your butthole. A person who executes this act is likely doing it for one of two reasons:

1) To hold in a turd when you really have to take a shit
2) Protect yourself from butt rape

Person 2: It looks like she is actually butthole shielding. I bet she has diarrhea.

aut shield

An imaginary shield which you have to protect yourself from the autistic people around you. In other words, one uses it to shy himself from the disease of autism from others.

Person 1: For fuck sake, there they are, Yushi and his autistic, inbred, squinty family.
Person 2: Quick, activate your aut shield. We don't want to be like them.

Person 1: Good call.

Shield volcano

As the name suggests, a shield volcano is broad and flat, like a shield. Made primarily of lava flows, shield volcanoes are less dangerous than the smaller stratovolcanoes. Examples include the Hawaiian islands, the base of Mount Etna (upon which several stratovolcanoes were built), Geldingadalir in Iceland, and Erta Ale in Ethiopia. Their lavas are generally fluid and runny, allowing them to spread farther from a vent than a stratovolcano’s lava would. As they travel farther from their source they eventually cool, forming a new layer to the shield volcano. Their slopes are weak, and thus prone to fissure eruptions, which send curtains of fire hundreds of feet into the air.

Kilauea is a shield volcano in the United States. Its broad surface features a long series of craters (aptly named the Chain of Craters) on its East Rift Zone, extending from the summit to the eastern tip of the Big Island. In May of 2018, a series of fissures emerged in the Leilani Estates, wiping out dozens of homes and creating massive lava flows.

Commando Shield

When you use underwear (preferably clean boxers) as an emergency MASK. You put your head in the waistband and through one leg, allowing the material to cover your leg. You put the other leg, bottom first over the top you your head. Fold the waistband under and you are done and protected.

A "Dirty Commando Shield" would be in an extreme emergency situation when you are forced to remove your underwear and use it as a mask as described above.

I tried to go to the store but they wouldn't let me in without a mask, so I returned to the car and put on my commando shield.

Personality Shield

When someone takes the part of them that is “oppressed” and use it to get away with being a mean person.

Person 1: Did you see that guy get beaten up?!
Person 2: It’s okay because they are female/gay/trans and the person who got beaten was probably harassing them.
Person 1: That’s such a personality shield.
(This is an over exaggerated example)
