I introduced the term "decagross' to a group of journalists and librarians and they all "knew" the meaning but were surprised that the word did not exist in any dictionary. I might add that these people were all over 70. A university maths lecturer told me that no one under 60 would have a clue. I coined the word when I asked how many units a cabinet for programming I pads for an art gallery held. I was told 1440.
