Adaptogenre refers to someone whose gender can switch depending on who they are talking to or what the situation is. Adaptogenre is NOT gender-fluid, as it does not shift because of the ‘way’ someone is feeling. Adaptogenre is predictable once you know what gender you feel like when talking to a specific person.
