cocky paladin

Someone that is overtly condescending and cocky about their abilities and firmly believes in their own perfection. If you aren't as good as them (and you're not) it's because you're stupid.

Others dream and reminisce of the inevitable times when the cocky paladin meets some thing or person that simply destroys him, hopefully in a very humiliating fashion and always because of their cockiness.

Used most often in reference to video gaming, but works for real world also. Cocky paladins that are also flash bastards are true hate magnets.

Parlae

Boss mane behind Dem Franchize Boyz. A Jehovah's Witness from Bankhead Ave in the West Side of Atlanta (Zone 1), his hobbies include snapping, spitting and counting bills. Oh, and slapping people will said bills. His style focuses more on sticking with the rhyme at hand and trying to find two (in some cases up to 4) word-long phrases that rhyme throughout his verses. Along with Pimpin, he raps the majority of the verses that you've heard on the radio (with the exception of "Lean Wit It, Rock Wit It", in which he sets it up with a long-ass wait and then his name pops up "PARLAE" and you can tell he runs the whole place.
"What's hapnin' Parlae?"
Same ol', same ol'

But niggas hit the club, then go trap in the same clothes

Palancing

Trinidad Soca Monarchs JW and Blaze coined the derived term ’palancing’’. Although claimed as theirs, formed by simply removing the ’R’’ from the word ’parlance’’. The term is ’Jack Palancing’’ which is a linguistic device known as rhyming slangs (later to be called Cockney rhyming slangs). These rhyming slangs, peculiar to most languages were slangs in which words were replaced by a word or phrase with which they rhymed. Another form of rhyming slangs was called reduplication as in such terms as ’hoity toity’’, ’namby pamby’’, ’nitty gritty’’, ’itsy bitsy’’ etc.

The term ’Jack Palancing’’ simply means dancing. Its origin may be more Irish than Cockney. As a matter of fact, one well-known Cockney rhyming slang is ’donkey’s ears’’ meaning ’years’’.
