avid hiker

1.The hiking version of a "poser", they don't enjoy nature, they just race up the trails at 6AM to show off to their white collar co-workers the following Monday and harass other hikers on the trail for being newbies and not in shape, even though the other hikers are just relaxing.
2. Fitness freaks who are looked down upon by the rest of the hikers on the trail
3. The hiking version of a "1337 h8k0r"

As I was photographing the skyline, an avid hiker raced past me and said, "Get out of my way!"

A friendly word used to signify when one gets beat, most commonly in a game.

Guy A: "How many points did you get?"
Guy B: "15!"
Guy A: "I only got 3!"
Guy C: "Man, you just got HIBERNATED!"

Guy B: "Gimme five!"
**Guy A keeps on walking**
Guy C: "Man...total hibernation, right there."

Guy A: "It's Friday."

Nerd Hierarchy

Nerd Hierarchies usually exist in a group of Star Trek Geeks. The levels are organized by knowledge of Trek. The leader is sometimes called the "captain" and is looked up to for advice. These groups of nerds often make up their own starships, such as "USS Valor" and write fanfiction and scripts that will go woefully unpublished.

Captain Warner is at the top of our local hierarchy.
