Dancing

1. An unsatisfying prelude to a sexual act.
2. An attempt to move one's body to the rhythm of music, resulting in a convulsion like motion that induces the laughter of those in close proximity to the "dancer".
The acts seen at grade-school dances. The awkward moments experience in nightclubs. That which some consider "dancing", looks to the rest of us like an uncontrolable spams of the apendages.

pole dancing

Stripping. The act of sensuous self-manipulation and gyration around a metal pole (usually in a strip club) with the intent of stirring up lust in the people viewing the dance. The pole is an integral part of the dance because it assists in some maneuvers and because it furnishes a central gathering point for people either to watch or to present tips.

Any attempt to pole dance without stripping is mere trifling.
Pole dancing without nudity is a trifling waste of time....

Dancing Drunk

When some one is so intoxicated they think they can dance when in reality they can't. Normally seen at bars with live bands, but also seen at any establishment that serves liquor and has music.
Last Sunday I was at a bar and I shit you not there were twelve people dancing drunk.

Darling in the Franxx

Darling in the Franxx is my personal favorite anime, but the ending is very depressing and made me very sad. As it is described: "The survivors of a catastrophic war against monsters cluster inside mobile fortress cities and train youngsters to defend humanity by piloting large battle robots called Franxx." The characters in the show are called "parasites" since they were made and developed in a lab. The characters in the show also go by codes/codenames since names are no longer needed in this "timeline" that they are in. The "main characters"/the parasites from Plantation 13 go by: Codename: 002 (or Zero Two), Codename: 016 (or Hiro), Codename: 015 (or Ichigo), Codename: 666 (or Zorome), Codename: 556 (or Kokoro), Codename: 214 (or Futoshi), Codename: 056 (or Goro), Codename: 390 (or Miku), Codename: 326 (or Mitsuru), Codename: 196 (or Ikuno).
Darling in the Franxx was the first anime I ever watched.

ethnic dancing

a form of dancing that people of rusyn background do. There are many dances like polkas. These dances are often used to try and attract a mate of the opposite sex. They are kind of used as speed dating for rusyns.

Hardcore Dancing

A lesser known form of expression/dancing is hardly considered by most to be a form of dancing at all. However, this is irrelevant considering it IS a form of dancing, just to a heavier form of music. Hardcore dancing (AKA "Throwing Down") is most commonly seen at Hardcore shows which shows appreciation or approval for the bands playing. It is basically a mix of the crowd punching and kicking the air. (with the exception of 2 steps.) Although it make look like random, uncontrolled flailing, it is anything but. Hardcore dancers (or just "dancers" as known at shows) often have different styles of which they prefer to perform. Examples of hardcore dancings moves would be "Spin-kicks", "Windmills", "Two Step", among others. Other types of "hardcore appreciation/expression" at shows consist of sing alongs, pile ons (like sing alongs except on a massive level, hence: pile on) and crowd punching(a less approved form of dancing where the dancer accidently or intentional dances into the crowd hitting bystanders, this is where much of the disapproval of hardcore dancing spawns. AKA: Bottlecapping)Often associated with crews, Hardcore dancing isn't for everyone. As you can see on this website, many people approve of it and many disapprove of it. I, myself, am an avid supporter of hardcore dancing and do it at every show. (though I do not crowd punch, people have the right to just watch the band if they want to, they don't have to get hit.)
