Mustard

British slang, originating from Pilsley, Derbyshire: A weak expletive which shares both its definition and conventions of use with the word bastard. Originally, "mustard" was used to refer to a child born out of wedlock, but through a process of semantic broadening, it is now mostly used as a general pejorative term. It can be used both as a noun (see example one) and an adjectival intensifier (see example two). The word bastard is used in precisely the same way. As an antidote to your ignorance, other examples of intensifiers are: fucking, bloody, chuffing, sodding, etc.

Example one: My phone's such a mustard; the autocorrect feature has made a fool of me yet again.

Example two: Arghh, my mustard phone has caused me ridicule!

Mustard

A "code" word for sexual intercourse, sexual appetite, male ejaculate, female ejaculate, all things good! Sometimes we even use it in context, its just simply mustard.

I could tell all night when I was out at the bar, this sweet girl who was looking me up and down was ready for the mustard.

After working twelve hours today at work, the only thing I could think about was the mustard and 8 hours of sleep.

Can't have these brots without the mustard!

In context when people start catching on we use variations of the word like mustaahhhhh.

ketchup and mustard

These are standard toppings for burgers & hot dogs. Nobody knows why it isn't the default toppings. Fast Food restaurants nowadays poop out these weird tomatoe, onion, lettuce toppings.

I don't want a fucking salad, I just want my god damn burger! It's not a fucking science.

Ex. 1 - the working man's fight:

(Frank) Can I have a cheeseburger, ketchup and mustard only, nothing else on it?
(five minutes later)
(Frank) WTF I paid for a burger and all you gave me were mustard and ketchup packets...

Ex. 2 - The Restaurant Enigma:

(Bob) Could I have my burger with mustard and ketchup only?
(Waitress) Oh, yes, I'll bring you a bottle of ketchup and a bottle of mustard!
(Bob) No, can you have the chef put the ketchup and mustard on? I hate having to squeeze that shit out and it takes forever. I kind of just want to eat, you know?
(Waitress) Oh, we don't do that! It's not our policy!
(Bob) Fuck your policy, it's called customer service!
