Suburbanitus

A person infected with suburbanitus usually lives in an upper class suburb outside a big or moderately sized city. They have 2.5 kids and live in sprawling houses in gated communities or the like. They drive 80,000 dollar SUVs such as Cadillac Escalades or Lincoln Navigators. Also in their garage, it is very likely to see a black four door sedan such as a Mercedes, BWM, Maserati, or Lexus. They believe that they have to impress everyone in a 100 mile radius, so they file to their local shopping center to waste their money on name brand clothing such as 150 dollar north face fleece, 300 dollar True Religion Jeans, and those ever so ugly UGG boots. They then walk to the food court and buy a 4 dollar coffee at Starbucks. Most victims of suburbanitus are fake dicks and think they're better than everyone else, though not admitting it, and giving the fake vibe that they love everyone. The children of the infected usually have a 50,000 dollar car by time their 15 and don't even have a license, they also love to cause unneeded drama to fulfill their empty shallow lives. Most people in the city despise suburbanites.

Inner city residential area that resembles suburbia, it is an area dominated by houses and lacks bars/cafes/restaurants etc

acute or chronic inflammation of the desire to keep up with the “Joneses”, caused by dual income heterosexual marriages, irrational desires to live in a poorly built and unoriginal home while acquiring as much debt as possible, or exposure to the “real” world including poverty and violence

Since they have been married, Melinda and Edward suffer from such bad suburbanitis; I don't know how they manage to pay their mortgage with their four cars, boat, motorcycle, and constant traveling abroad.

Suburban Speedball

A drug combination used mostly by white, middle-class high school kids who don't know where to find cocaine and heroin, but who have a medicine cabinet full of prescriptions. A suburban speedball is made from combining adderall or ritalin with any of the opioid painkillers, such as vicodin, percoset, codiene, etc.

"Bro, I'm bored, wanna meet up and do some suburban speedballs then ride bikes to the park? My mom just picked up my ADHD meds today and my dad still has some perc 20s from his back surgery. I'm sure he won't miss them, lol!"

Suburban-rock

Suburban-rock movement started shortly after 2002 when Taking Back Sunday released "Tell All Your Friends" a band having a sound similar to that of Thursday, Saves the Day, & The Movie Life but lacked creativity and orginality that some of those bands use to bring to the table. The record although fun and has it's moments, was quite cliche. It would directly lead teeangers to beg their parents buy them guitars with wireless packs, only to discredit many genres including; post-rock, post-hardcore, indie (which is not technically a genre), pop-punk & an extreme tarnish on emo.

The movement is still being pushed fast today and the wave is carrying "sucsessful" bands like Fall Out Boy, Panic! at the Disco, Hawthorne Heights, My Chemical Romance & The Used, and many more which can all be heard on mainstream radio, and seen on Fuse, & MTV. Drive-thru records has been pushing the movement as well, but on a smaller level. These bands all strive to sound alike and they've become extremley marketable with their prime target set solidly on 13 year old kids and 20 year olds with no taste in music. They center their music around sluts they can't get over. So just like they would bore their friends and roomates with their tired old problems they bore us with tired their music.

like all fads they pass, and are looked back at as quite humorus, only this will be a complete joke. Fall Out Boy will be played at 00's partys in ten to tweny years, and everyone will dress in bleached jeans with placed holes and patches, where white belts, scurry to their local thrift store looking for a pink hollister shirt just like people go looking for stone washed jeans, and members only jackets for the 80's party that is next Friday.
