The hack to rule all hacks. A super hack used only by extreme n00bs. When applied, the Fern Hack enables the player to do almost anything, including aiming, shooting, and most importantly, lying in prone. Use at your own risk.

A simple technique or know how that will make your life easier; However, this meaning has been blurred to instead be a blanket term for crafts and creations that would seem to be helpful on paper but in practice would be more costly, expensive and worse than just doing it the normal way.
