Usato molto spesso nel Lazio,soprattutto a Roma,per indicare qualcuno che cerca di sembrare superiore, assumendo degli atteggiamenti ridicoli o,semplicemente,uno "sfigato".

Francesco è proprio un gaggio: si veste sempre elegante per seguire la massa e prende per il culo quelli più piccoli di lui.
