The antithesis of banter, open to interpretation. It can be applied to a wide variety of situations

The worlds worst possible insult. one does not want to be accused of antibanter or be described as an antibanterer

Antibanterer: a person with the rare skill of stopping banter dead in its tracks, worst than shanter or even ganter.

usually occurs in aspirational girls who shun jokes as a distraction to their "climb"

Someone, a killjoy, generally not participating in banter that is happening at the time, like cling filming a person's car or pranking a load of people because they are too wuss, too tired or for any reason for that matter

Is it possible to correct a spelling mistake in my definition of 'canter banter' submitted yesterday? The sentence should read "... Canterbury Christ Church OR the University of Kent" and not "OF". Thank you :-)

The Banter Years 

The period between October 2012 - Ongoing where Rangers F.C. ceased to exist and the inanimate corpse known as Sevco Ltd has risen from their shallow grave. During this time the club has faced public humiliation on and off the park being the whipping boys of the superior Celtic FC. However, in this pit of misery has come a small glimmer of comedic value. Humour and personality of an undesirable nature, conversational skills of an intolerable standard, the inability to integrate oneself into the flow of jovial nonchalence, inadvertantly depressing dialogue, sick, nasty or 'over-the-top' prankstery.

Person 1 - "That clown never shuts up about how fast his brother's car is or how much money his Dad earns"

Person 2 - "I know, shan banter"

OR

Person 1 - "I had that cow moaning at me all night about how she's got no career and all her men have been pigs"

Person 2 - "Ooooooh, shan banter"

OR

Person 1 - "Did you hear those sickos put cow dung in a super soaker and squirted a blind guy?"
