Seton Hall Prep

Seton Hall Prep is a Catholic boys high school in West Orange, NJ. It is known for being the oldest Catholic high school in the state and for glorifying the jock culture. Most of the jocks there are so insecure and resentful about not having gotten into a better private high school (usually Delbarton, the other large Catholic boys school in North Jersey) that they assuage themselves by degrading anyone they can. Usually, this takes one of the following two forms: the Neanderthal, hateful, angry, insecure SHP jock will 1) go on blogs like this to insult Delbarton and its students (which is pathetic, since almost all of Delbarton's graduates go to Ivy League or "Little Ivy League" colleges in SHARP contrast to SHP graduates) or 2) bully any classmate at Seton Hall Prep who is not a jock and/or a Neanderthal.

This is best exemplified by reading prior entries on this blog where Seton Hall Prep's OWN STUDENTS unwittingly undermine SHP's reputation by their semi-literate, angry, immature, homophobic, ignorant posts. Further examples of the semi-literacy and slothfulness of the SHP Neanderthal SubType can be found on other student blogs like "Rate My Teacher".

For example, see prior definition where the proud Seton Hall student brags that at SHP, they are better at banging the sluttiest prostitutes (HIS reference to their girlfriends). Yeah.... that's impressive. I'm sure the administration is proud of THAT definition.

teen prep

Usually Stuck up to the more normal kids with less money. Usually wears American eagle, hollister pacsun etc. Refuses to shop at non name brand stores such as walmart and makes fun or refuses to befriend anyone that does so. Most friends consist of other preps and mostly spread rumors about other people. Many conflicts start between the more accepting, normal, and less wealthy and preps do to the preps rude gestures such as laughing at them, talking about them, etc

Nikki: "ewwww how could you shop at walmart you're so poor"

Normal kid: " easy by going into the store...picking out something i like...taking it to a cashier have them ring it up, pay for it, and carry it out of the store...im sorry if im not a teen prep like you."

Derived from prepatory - a completely different meaning to the word prep meaning home work in countries such as the UK - A prep has now become an extremely infamous label, many "preps" seem to be oblivious to that fact, but the term is still used, usually in spite of other people in forms of jealousy or hatred. Supposedly the definition of a prep is being complete hoebag with no sense of individuality whatsoever who is "out to get everybody".

Is usually completely self centered and is extremely conceited. Creates problems for other "clicks" "types" "groups" etc... by being completely slutty bitchy up themselves etc... etc...
Can be recognized by stupidity, illiteration, use of crappy language, using words such as "like" and "oh my god" and "totally" 10-40 times in one sentence, obsession to apply lip gloss 456 times in the span of 5 minutes, amount of money held in ONE purse, expensive and "preppy" clothes such as Abercrombie & Fitch, American Eagle, Hollister, Armani Exchange etc... , their desperation to keep slim ( aka anorexia nervosa )

Other Comments: Is very intent on being up to date with the latest gossip and bitching around the whole school, is very popular, usually hangs out with a clique of friends and/or has a posse of which will include 2-4 other clones, has connections with absolutely anybody and everybody with a high popularity reputation, Loves "cute" things but are actually completely bitchy.
Is usually anticipated to have sex. Is very worried about looks and style and if one is wearing enough make up, Is usually constantly using peroxide and tweezers. Most of the time, the prep will be a platinum blonde. Usually dates jocks/football players etc...
hated by most other labels such as goths nerds punks loosers druggies etc...

brophy college prep

a prep school that is in arizona. In the 1930's it was a college but the great depression caused it to close down and sell some of its land. that land was bought up by xavier college prepatory and turned into a girls only school. after the great depression it was then reopened as a boys only college prep highschool. it is now functioning well and sends many of its students to harvard, yale, etc. it is a jesuit school and uses the motto "men for others".
